Typo3 Error in tt_news translations

As I tried to translate a news item I had the following error:
TYPO3 Edit DocumentYou have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'tt_news.t3ver_id,tt_news.t3ver_state,tt_news.t3ver_wsid,tt_news.t3ver_count,
tt_n' at line 1.
This may indicate a table defined in tables.php is not existing in the database!

I looked for a solution and found it on the French Typo3 forum. My French is very poor but I managed to understand the solution. For those of you whose French is as bad as mine here it is:

This truly is a bug of typo3 4.2 x and tt_news. It is documented here

In the extension manager click on tt_news and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click update.

Et voilà c'est réglé. :D
